What this tool does not do
The name of this site describes what visitors search for, so it is worth being blunt about the limits of what it actually does.
- It does not download Spotify's music audio. Tracks on Spotify are protected by digital rights management, and that protection is not touched, removed or worked around here. For a song, album, playlist or artist link the tool shows the public title and cover art, embeds Spotify's own official player, and offers the cover art as a download.
- It does not host, store or re-host any media file. There is no media library on this site and no server of ours in the path.
- It does not convert, rip, decrypt or transcode protected audio.
- It does not require an account, and it does not provide access to any paid Spotify feature.
- For podcasts, it finds shows in Apple's public directory and lets you download an episode MP3 that the publisher already distributes openly in its own RSS feed. The file comes from the publisher's host, straight to your device.
